Siem Reap to Ho Chi Minh, a set on Flickr.
This was how I captured the enigmatic beauty of Siem Reap, Cambodia and Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.

I went there with no high expectations that I will be able to explore its entire beauty. I conditioned myself to welcome anything that comes my way. Initially, I was nervous with my flight, budget, endurance, etc. But later, I got very excited because I thought, it is an honor to explore, immerse and experience the richness of the culture of Cambodia and Vietnam.

I was also ecstatic with the idea that I will finally see the famous Saigon Opera House, Notre Dame Cathedral, Cao Dai Temple, Cu Chi Tunnel, the Angkor Wat and of course, the Ta Prohm Temple also known as the Jungle Temple, where the movie Tomb Raider was filmed.

Moreover, I could now whisper my heart’s desire to the walls of the Angkor Wat where my favorite Chinese actor, Tony Leung Chiu Wai, whispered something in the movie “In the Mood for Love.”

After almost 6 days of exploring both countries, I felt recharged, energized and very happy with this travel.

Thank you Cambodia and Vietnam for the wonderful experience! ^_^
